We repair the problems that lead to standing water, overflow, and water damage on fascia, siding, landscaping, and foundations. Buffalo’s snow, ice, wind, and heavy seasonal rain put real stress on gutter systems, and we inspect every property before recommending a fix.
A leaking gutter and a sagging gutter don’t always share the same cause. What you see on the surface — a drip, an overflow, a loose section — is often a symptom of something happening underneath, whether that’s a failed seam, a worn hanger, or storm damage to the roofline. Here’s what we find most often on Buffalo homes.
Water dripping from a corner or seam usually points to failed sealant, a cracked end cap, or separation at a mitered joint caused by expansion and contraction. Aluminum gutters can also corrode at the joint over time. We inspect each seam and end cap, then reseal or replace the damaged component depending on its condition.
When a gutter section pulls away from the fascia, it's often due to loose hidden hangers, worn gutter spikes, or brackets that can no longer hold the gutter's pitch. Snow load adds extra weight that accelerates this problem. Water collects in the low spots, and if left alone, the fascia board underneath can take on damage too. We reattach loose hangers and correct the pitch so water flows toward the downspout instead of pooling.
Overflow during a rainstorm often comes from leaves and debris blocking the downspout outlet, but an improper gutter slope or an undersized system can cause the same symptom. We determine whether the fix is a thorough cleaning, a slope correction, or a repair to the downspout connection itself before recommending a course of action.
High winds off Lake Erie and ice buildup can tear a section loose, bend a run, or snap a downspout strap. Corners and fasteners take the brunt of storm damage. An inspection tells us whether the affected components can be restored or whether that section needs replacing.
Not sure what's causing your leak or overflow?
Every repair we recommend is based on what our inspection finds, not a standard package. These services are targeted fixes for specific gutter conditions — not a substitute for full gutter installation or replacement when a system has reached the end of its service life.
We identify the source of a leak at the joint, miter, or end cap, then prepare the surface so a compatible gutter sealant forms a watertight seal. When a fitting is too corroded or cracked for sealant alone to hold, we replace that specific component instead of resealing over a problem that will return.
Loose or sagging gutter runs get corrected by resetting hanger spacing and anchoring into sound fascia. We check the roofline for secure attachment points and restore a proper drainage slope toward the downspout, so water moves off the roof instead of sitting in the gutter.
Downspout elbows, straps, and outlets fail individually more often than the whole system fails at once. We reattach loose downspouts, replace damaged sections, fix leaking joints, and correct any discharge point that's currently sending rainwater toward your foundation instead of away from it.
A gutter hanger is only as strong as the fascia board holding it. Soft, rotted, or moisture-damaged fascia can’t reliably support gutter fasteners, no matter how well the gutter itself is repaired. We inspect the substrate behind the gutter and coordinate any necessary fascia repair before rehanging. Structural fascia work is quoted separately from the gutter repair itself.
Sectional gutter systems and seamless aluminum gutters fail differently and require different repair approaches. We match replacement material and profile to your existing system, whether that means swapping a sectional piece or custom-fitting a component into a seamless run. Isolated repairs make sense when the surrounding material is still sound; our full range of gutter services covers the rest.
Heavy snow loading can detach hangers, bend aluminum runs, and freeze outlets shut. We check that every section is securely fastened and made of sound material before winter weather arrives. Gutter repair addresses the gutter system itself — it's a separate issue from ice-dam remediation happening at the roof's edge.
Water that freezes inside a joint or outlet expands and contracts with every thaw, loosening seams over multiple seasons. That movement is a common cause of the seasonal leaks we see each spring. Correcting drainage and repairing the joint itself stops the cycle from repeating.
Spring snowmelt and heavy rain both test a gutter system's drainage capacity. When downspouts discharge too close to the house, the result can be soil erosion, siding stains, and a wet basement. Gutters that direct water well away from the foundation protect the building from these slower, cumulative problems.
Repair makes sense for isolated leaks, a few loose hangers, minor alignment issues, or a single damaged section — especially when the rest of the gutter material is otherwise sound and shows no widespread corrosion.
Repair Is Often Practical
Replacement becomes the more practical option when corrosion has spread across multiple seams, hangers are failing throughout the run, the system is undersized for your roof's runoff, or repair costs start approaching what a new system would cost.
Replacement May Be Advisable
Not sure whether you need repair or replacement? We'll give you an honest answer in writing.
Gutter repair pricing depends on your property and the extent of the damage, which is why we don’t publish a flat rate. We do offer free estimates, so there’s no cost to find out.
Your estimate covers our inspection findings, the recommended repair work, materials and labor, any additional repairs we flag along the way, an expected schedule, cleanup, and applicable warranty terms. We put all of it in writing before you approve anything.

Step 1
We check the visual condition of your gutter system, note any trouble spots or active leaks, examine the support hardware, and trace where runoff exits the system.
Step 2
We walk through what we found, which components are repairable versus which need replacing, and the full scope of work. You'll have clear pricing before we start anything.
Step 3
Our crew secures damaged sections, repairs failed joints, adjusts pitch where needed, and replaces components that can't be salvaged — including any underlying fascia support.
Step 4
We verify alignment, check drainage flow when conditions allow, clear away debris, and walk you through the completed work along with any maintenance recommendations.
Buffalo native Matt Kulhanek founded All Access Builders LLC in 2003. Over 22 years of hands-on exterior construction work in Western New York shapes how our crews approach every gutter repair we take on today.
Gutters don't function in isolation — they depend on the roofline and fascia around them. Our experience across roofing, siding, and fascia means we catch the related issues that a gutter-only crew might miss, especially on chronic leaks or repeated attachment failure.
Every repair comes with a written scope of work, direct communication with our team, and coverage under our documented workmanship warranty. We carry general liability insurance and manage the project from estimate to final walkthrough.
Project 01
On this two-story home, a white K-style gutter runs the full length of the front porch roof and drains into a single corner downspout. The color matches the window trim and front door, and the downspout sits tight against the siding at the end of the run, so water moves off the roof edge and away from the front steps and planting bed.
Project 02
This single-story bungalow received new blue shingle-style siding and white trim, with a white gutter run across the full-width front porch roof. Finishing the gutter in the same white as the fascia, columns, and gable trim keeps the roofline clean, and the downspout carries porch roof runoff to the side of the house instead of over the entry.
Project 03
This project added a second story and new roofing over the attached garage. When a roofline changes this much, the existing gutter layout has to be rethought: new eaves, new roof planes, and new drainage areas all need properly sized gutters and downspouts placed where the water will actually collect. We plan the gutter runs and outlet locations while the roof work is in progress so the system fits the finished house.

Water stains below a gutter run, puddles forming next to the foundation, loose fasteners, peeling exterior paint, or fascia that stays wet long after a storm all point to a gutter problem worth checking. Gutter overflow can contribute to basement moisture, though it’s not the only possible cause, so an inspection helps confirm what’s actually happening.
Keep people clear of any unstable section, and document the damage from a safe distance rather than climbing an icy ladder. Call us to schedule an assessment. We’ll evaluate the damage and recommend next steps, though we can’t guarantee same-day emergency service in every case.

Cost depends on the extent of the damage, how accessible your gutters are, the type of repair needed, and the material involved. We provide a free, written estimate after inspecting your specific property.
Yes, in most cases. Failed seams, corners, and end caps are usually repairable. Widespread corrosion or extensive damage across the system may call for replacement instead.
Yes. We repair loose hangers, reattach the run, and correct the pitch. If the fascia behind the gutter has deteriorated, we address that first since it needs to reliably hold the hardware.
Yes. We repair downspout sections, elbows, fasteners, and outlets, and correct extensions so water discharges safely away from your foundation.
Yes. Heavy snow accumulation can loosen supports and bend sections, while ice can block outlets. Gutter repair addresses the gutter system itself and doesn’t resolve every underlying cause of roof-level ice dams.
Project length depends on the extent of the damage, accessibility, weather, and whether fascia repair is also needed. We’ll give you a timeframe as part of your estimate.
Not necessarily. Cleaning is sometimes part of diagnosing a blockage or leak, and we’ll let you know during the inspection whether it’s needed before or during the repair.
