Homeowners across Buffalo trust us because we show up when we say we will, communicate clearly, and stand behind our work with written warranties. Whether you’re updating a single room or renovating your entire house, our general contracting team brings the local experience and project oversight your remodel needs.
Buffalo homeowners call us for one straightforward reason: we handle the full scope of a remodel, not just one trade. Our teams coordinate kitchens, bathrooms, basements and whole-home projects under one roof, so you’re not managing three separate contractors.
Below is an overview of our core remodeling services. Each project starts with the same promise — clear communication, a written scope, and crews who treat your home like their own.
Your kitchen remodel might mean new cabinetry and countertops, or a full layout change that opens the room to your living space. We handle cabinets, countertops, islands, backsplashes, lighting, flooring and the plumbing and electrical coordination that comes with it.
We plan every kitchen project around how you actually use the space. That means thinking through storage, workflow, and ventilation before a single cabinet comes out, so the finished kitchen works as well as it looks.
A bathroom remodel lives or dies on waterproofing. We rebuild showers and tubs with proper waterproofing systems, install tile, vanities, fixtures and lighting, and address ventilation so moisture doesn’t become tomorrow’s problem.
We also factor in accessibility where it matters, from walk-in showers to grab-bar blocking. Every bathroom project gets a written scope covering materials, fixtures and timeline before we start.
Finishing a Buffalo basement means turning unused square footage into a family room, home office or recreation space. We handle flooring, insulation, electrical work and bathroom additions where the layout allows.
Because basements sit below grade, moisture planning matters more here than almost anywhere else in your home. We assess existing conditions first, then design a finishing approach built around what we find.
A whole-home remodel coordinates work across multiple rooms at once — kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, trim and layout changes — under a single project plan. As your general contractor, we manage the trades, the material procurement and the schedule, so you have one point of contact from start to finish.
This approach reduces the coordination headaches that come with hiring separate contractors for each room. You get consistent communication, a unified timeline and one team accountable for the whole result, from structural alterations down to the final finishes.
Flooring and trim work ties a remodel together. We install hardwood, engineered flooring, luxury vinyl plank and tile, along with baseboards, casing and crown molding that match the character of your home.
Finish carpentry is often the detail that makes a remodeled room feel complete. We treat it as part of the overall scope, not an afterthought tacked on at the end of a project.
Remodeling and renovation both work within your home’s existing footprint, whether that means updating finishes or changing a layout. A home addition, by contrast, adds new square footage to your house.
If your project involves building out rather than reworking existing space, visit our home additions page for details on room additions, garage expansions and second-story builds.
Remodeling your home means trusting a crew with your biggest investment. We’re a family-owned, state-licensed and insured general contractor that’s been earning Buffalo’s trust since 2003, with an A+ BBB rating to show for it.
What that means in practice: our in-house crews handle your remodel directly, rather than farming out every trade to a rotating cast of subcontractors. We provide day-to-day oversight of your project site, coordinating framers, plumbers, electricians and tile crews so you always know what’s happening and when.
Roughly 90% of our business comes from customer referrals, which tells you how our past clients feel about the experience. Every project comes with a written proposal, transparent pricing and workmanship and manufacturer warranties documented before we break ground. We built our reputation one Buffalo remodel at a time, and we intend to keep it that way.
We've managed remodeling projects across the City of Buffalo and Erie County since 2003, which means we've seen the framing, wiring and plumbing conditions common to this region's housing stock. That experience translates into fewer surprises once walls come open.
Direct project oversight means one of our team members manages your job site daily, coordinating every trade involved. You get a single point of contact instead of chasing down separate contractors for updates.
Every remodel starts with a detailed written proposal covering project scope, material selections, timeline and pricing, with no hidden costs added later. New York law requires a written contract for home improvement work exceeding $500, and we build our proposals to meet and exceed that standard.
We document change orders as they happen and keep you informed at every stage. Each project closes with workmanship and manufacturer warranties, reviewed with you in writing during the final walkthrough.

Buffalo’s housing stock and Western New York weather shape how we approach every remodel. A kitchen or basement renovation here involves different considerations than the same project in a newer-construction market, and we plan around those realities from day one.
Understanding local conditions isn’t an afterthought for us. It’s built into how we assess your home before we ever write a proposal.
Many Buffalo homes have been updated multiple times over the decades, which means opening a wall can reveal previous renovations, uneven framing or outdated wiring that wasn't visible beforehand. We evaluate existing conditions before finalizing a scope so structural changes are planned around what's actually there.
Not every older home presents these issues, but we go in prepared for the possibility rather than assuming a straightforward project.
Western New York's freeze-thaw cycles and lake-effect moisture make ventilation and insulation decisions more important in a remodel than they might be elsewhere. Basement moisture, bathroom exhaust ventilation and air sealing all factor into how we plan finishing work.
We build these considerations into kitchen, bathroom and basement remodels alike, since poor ventilation or insulation choices tend to show up as problems within a single Buffalo winter.
Many of our remodeling clients want updated function without losing original character — matching trim profiles, millwork details or floor transitions to the rest of the house. We work to blend new materials with existing architectural details rather than creating a mismatched patchwork.
Certain properties or locations may require additional local review depending on the project, which we'll confirm with you before finalizing your scope.
We run every remodel through the same structured process, so you always know what comes next. It’s the same approach whether you’re updating one room or renovating your entire home.
01.
We start with a free, on-site consultation to understand your goals, evaluate existing conditions and talk through priorities. This visit gives us the information we need to put together an accurate initial scope.
02.
Next, we work through layout decisions, finishes, cabinetry, fixtures and flooring selections. This stage produces the specifications your written proposal will be built around.
03.
We determine permit requirements, order materials and schedule trades before construction begins. This preconstruction work keeps your project moving once crews arrive on site.
04.
Our in-house crews handle demolition, framing, installation and finishes, with site supervision throughout. We coordinate any outside trades directly and keep you updated at every stage of construction.
05.
We complete punch list items, walk the finished space with you, and review your workmanship and manufacturer warranties in writing. The project isn't done, in our view, until you're satisfied with the result.
Every Buffalo remodel comes with its own cost and timeline, shaped by scope, existing conditions and material choices. We build each estimate around your specific project rather than a generic price list, which is why a written, on-site proposal matters more than a ballpark figure.
That said, there are patterns homeowners should understand before requesting an estimate.
Project size and scope are the biggest cost drivers in any remodel, followed by existing conditions discovered once work begins. Structural alterations, plumbing or electrical relocation, cabinetry and countertop selections, and permit requirements all factor into your final number.
Material selection also moves the needle significantly — the difference between stock cabinetry and custom millwork, or laminate and natural stone countertops, can shift a budget considerably. We walk through these variables with you during your consultation so your estimate reflects real choices, not assumptions.
Remodel timelines depend on project scope, permitting requirements, inspection schedules, structural work and material lead times. A single-room update moves faster than a whole-home renovation involving multiple trades and layout changes.
Change orders and material availability can also extend a timeline once a project is underway. We provide a target schedule in your written proposal and update you directly if conditions on site change that estimate.
We start with an on-site inspection, then document your project scope in detail, including material selections and allowances. From there, we confirm permit requirements and build a construction schedule around trade availability and material lead times.
This process gives you a written estimate grounded in your home’s actual conditions, not a generic quote based on square footage alone.
Most remodeling projects in Buffalo require review from the City’s Department of Permit and Inspection Services, which checks work against New York State codes, the Buffalo Green Code and applicable local ordinances. We handle this process as part of our project management, so you’re not left navigating the permit office on your own.
Permit requirements depend heavily on project scope, particularly when structural alterations or building-system changes are involved. We verify what’s required for your specific project before work begins.
Projects involving structural changes, plumbing or electrical work, or significant layout alterations typically require a permit from the City of Buffalo. Smaller cosmetic updates may not trigger the same requirement, but the specifics depend on exactly what your project involves.
We don’t assume every remodel needs the same permit path. Instead, we confirm requirements against your actual scope before finalizing your proposal.
Once we determine a permit is required, we submit the application, wait for City review and receive permit issuance before construction begins on that portion of the work. Buffalo requires inspections at designated stages of construction, and final project closeout depends on passing those inspections.
As the licensed contractor on your project, we handle this entire sequence, scheduling inspections around our construction timeline so delays stay minimal.
Properties located in certain Buffalo districts may require Preservation Board approval in addition to standard permitting. This isn’t a universal requirement — it applies only where a property falls under preservation review.
We’ll confirm whether your home falls into this category during your consultation, so you know upfront if an extra review step applies to your remodel.
Nothing demonstrates how we work better than the projects we’ve completed for Buffalo-area homeowners. This section highlights real remodels, including the starting condition, the scope of work and the result our clients live with every day.
This kitchen was rebuilt around an L-shaped layout that wraps cabinetry along two walls, giving the homeowner continuous counter space from the range to the refrigerator. Shaker-style wood cabinets run full height on the upper run, finished with crown molding at the ceiling, and the lower cabinets add deep drawer storage beside the cooking area.
Our scope included new white countertops, a stainless gas range with an over-the-range microwave, a stainless refrigerator, wood-look plank flooring carried through to the adjoining hall, recessed ceiling lighting, and new interior doors and trim. The window over the counter keeps natural light on the main prep area.
Scope of work
This photo shows a large living space during the finish carpentry stage. Our crew is installing a full-room wainscoting system with evenly spaced panel frames and a continuous top cap, trimming out the windows to match, and working under newly installed recessed lights.
The subfloor is prepped and ready for finish flooring once the trim work is complete. We share in-progress photos like this so homeowners can see the framing, trim and lighting stages that happen before the final finishes go in.
Scope of work
Homes like this one, with a shingle-style upper story, brick porch columns and a covered front porch, are part of what makes Buffalo neighborhoods distinctive. Work on a house of this age starts with an assessment of existing conditions so updates can be planned around the original structure.
The second-floor balcony railing and porch details were kept in proportion with the rest of the facade, so the improvements read as part of the original house rather than an add-on.
Scope of work
The best measure of a remodel is how the homeowner feels once the crew has packed up. These reviews come from Buffalo and Erie County clients who trusted us with their kitchens, bathrooms, basements and whole-home projects.
